• Banca IMI: results as at 30 June 2010 approved

• Banca IMI is sponsor of the launch of La Stampa iPad edition

• Banca IMI participates as co-manager to Banco do Brasil's capital increase

  Milan, 14 July, 2010 - Banca IMI expands its reach to international capital markets, acting as co-manager in Banco do Brasil capital increase. Last week, the state run lender, and biggest South-American financial group in terms of assets, successfully closed the 5.4 bl Usd shares offering, corresponding approx to 11% of its capital. BB Banco de Investimento and Bank of America Merrill Lynch served as global coordinator and joint bookrunner and were supported by important international financial groups and by two European banks: Italy's Banca IMI and Spain's Santander. The participation of the Intesa Sanpaolo group's Investment Bank to the deal, confirms its commitment to offer its expertise abroad, especially now that the domestic equity primary market is showing a weak performance.

• Banca IMI acquires 49% of Epsilon SGR

  Milan, 7 July, 2010 - Banca IMI has purchase the 49% of Epsilon SGR share capital from Eurizon Capital SGR, which holds the remaining 51%, for a total amount of EUR 12.617.500. At the same time, Banca IMI and Eurizon Capital signed a Paracorporate Pact aimed to regulating Epsilon governance and activity. See the full press release

• 10 year bond issue by Eni: Banca IMI acted as Joint Bookrunner

  Milano, June 22, 2010 - Eni has launched a fixed rate bond issue for a notional amount of Euro 1 billion. The transaction will be placed in the international Eurobond market. The bond has a 10 year maturity and pays a fixed annual coupon of 4%. The bond will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The notes were bought by institutional investors mainly in Italy, France, Germany, UK and Netherlands. Banca IMI, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, ING and UniCredit Group had the role of Joint Bookrunners for the transaction.
